Tuition and Fees

Yearly Tuition – August 27, 2012 to May 31, 2013

Tuition is payable in advance on a school year basis.  Tuition will be pro-rated if a student enters after the first four weeks. No refund is given because of absenteeism during the school year.  Tuition is discounted 2.5% if payment is made every semester. A 5% discount will be applied if tuition is paid yearly on or before the first day of the school year. If payment is not received within 10 days after the due date, a $30.00 service charge will be added. There is a one-time $100 non-refundable registration fee for all new students.

Pre-School Students-There is a one time $100 non-refundable deposit for all new students.  At the time of enrollment a $300 deposit is required which is applied towards tuition and fees.  Pre-school hours are from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM for a full day and 6:30 AM to 12:00 noon for a half-day session.  Classroom instructions begin at 9:00 AM.

Transitional Kindergarten-Students must be 4 years old before March 1st.

Kindergarten-Students must be 5 years old before September 1st.

Transitional Kindergarten Through Eighth Grade Students -There is a one time $100 non-refundable deposit for all new students. At the time of enrollment a $400 non-refundable deposit is required which is applied towards tuition and fees in September.  The school campus is open from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM and classroom instructions are from 8:25 AM to 3:00 PM.  There will be no additional charges for before and after school care.  Transitional Kindergarten through Eighth grade students are required to wear uniforms.

Textbooks for First through Eighth Grade–Parents are responsible for the purchase of all hard cover text books. Valley Schools will provide all consumable texts.  Every Middles School student will be required to purchase The Nook color, a device that will enhance students’ learning and overall educational experience

Sibling Discounts-Parents with 2 children will receive a 10% discount towards the lower tuition rate.  For each additional child a 5% discount will also be applied towards the lower tuition rate.

Admission Procedure-Enrollments are based on a personal interview with prospective students.  Current test scores will be necessary for grades first through eighth.  For admissions information, pleaseclick here

Meals-Students in Pre-School through Kindergarten are provided with hot lunches and snacks at no additional charge.  Grades 1st-2nd may purchase a hot lunch for $2.50 per day. Grades 3rd-8th may purchase lunch from an a la carte menu.

Transportation-Bus service is available to most of the San Fernando Valley for an additional fee.  Your child will be picked up and delivered to your home.  All drivers are certified by the California Highway Patrol.
