We hope you find this website helpful in providing you with a strong sense of our school culture and spirit, our academic program, and the numerous athletic and extracurricular opportunities offered at Valley. As you peruse our site, please keep in mind that the information you are reading should not substitute for an actual visit to the school. By walking through the hallways, visiting classes, and seeing the interaction between students and teachers, you will gain invaluable insight into The Valley Schools family.

We know that this is a very busy time for prospective students and their families so we’ve streamlined our website and documented the admissions process. Most of our admissions documents are now online, including but not limited to our application, teacher recommendations, and transcript requests.

Admissions checklist

  • The Application Form
    The first step is to complete the Application Form and return it to the Admissions Office so that we will have your contact information.

  • The Admissions Test
    Applicants are not necessarily required to take an Entrance Examination.  An entrance exam may be scheduled depending upon information included within transcripts and letters of recommendation.

  • Teacher Recommendations (Math and English)
    Two teacher recommendations are required for each applicant. One must be from the current year English teacher, and the other from the current year mathematics teacher. It is the applicant’s responsibility to make sure that these forms are filled out by the teachers and forwarded directly to The Valley Schools’ Admissions Office. The English Teacher’s Recommendation and Math Teacher’s Recommendation forms can be mailed to the applicant if requested or you may print it below.

  • The Transcript
    Each applicant is responsible for having his or her current school forward a copy of his or her complete transcript to The Valley Schools’ Admissions Office.  The Transcript Release Form can be mailed to the applicant if requested or you may print it here.

  • The Interview
    Parents of applicants are asked to make an appointment for an interview with the Principal.  Many times a student’s academic accomplishments, creative talents or athletic strengths cannot be fully demonstrated through a written application, so the interview process can help us develop a complete picture of the applicant.  We are looking for students from a variety of backgrounds who demonstrate a willingness and excitement to learn.  Please call the number below for more information and to schedule an appointment.
